IFBB – One PR worked under the umbrella of Yorkshire-based Storm PR for this niche project which involved raising the profile of the International Federation of Body Builders’ much anticipated return to UK shores. The IFBB Fitness Expo heralded the long awaited return of competitive body building back to the UK and combined it with an explosion of exciting sporting and fitness events, seminars and stands to create the ultimate well-being exhibition.
Over just four weeks, Storm and One PR delivered a wealth of online and offline coverage which was worth over £4,000 and reached almost half a million people.

"Storm PR was tasked with a PR programme of awareness building of a bodybuilding show and expo - March 2011 - with four weeks' notice. Working alongside primarily Amy Keen and Laurie Middleton, we devoted significant time to this, garnering media attention, athlete interviews and aiming to reach as many people as possible within our strict timescale. We reached a huge audience including a great deal of online and offline media coverage, as well as direct approaches to gyms, sports clubs, colleges and sports fans. The client broke even financially and for a first show with no prior exposure, this is remarkable."
